Hi! I’m Sruthy Kumar (pronounced shru-thee). I'm currently a Sr. Product Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The path to designing great products is paved with ambiguity and an abundance of sticky notes. My strength lies in simplifying that complexity while taking a holistic systems thinking approach to designing solutions. Adopting an empathy-led approach has enabled me to deliver success at my previous roles.
I grew up in sunny Singapore, and completed my B.Eng in Industrial & Systems Engineering from NUS. When I'm not designing, I’m making mud mirror art.

I work closely with product and engineering partners, early and often, to identify where user needs intersect with the business's OKRs. This allows me to create delightful user experiences while driving engagement, conversion, and ultimately, revenue.

As a data-informed product designer, my strength lies in knowing how to ask the right questions of the data tools the organization users to track user behavior, identify patterns and translate those patterns into actionable design decisions.

No researchers? No problem! I enjoy speaking directly to the customers/users of a product. I am self-directed from start to finish, am able to conduct my own research, synthesize those findings into compelling user stories, and use them to inform decision decisions.
